The difference between weight loss and fat loss

Most people confuse concepts such as weight loss and fat loss. The thing is, these two are completely different things. For example, a woman who started to follow a healthy diet and exercise does not lose fat. She can lose only muscle.

If you want to lose fat, you should know how much you weigh, your muscle mass, and the body fat percentage. Most people start their weight loss journey on the wrong foot, because they do not know their indicators. By following a healthy diet, cutting down the calories and doing cardio exercise people just look smaller, but have high percentage of body fat. The fact is, they wanted to reduce weight, but did not know that fat wouldn’t leave them.

Another reason why people do not lose fat is improper diet. They count calories and can cut out an entire group of products, which is necessary for their bodies. This misstep only leads to loss of muscle and fat gain. There are two main ways that can help you lose fat:

#1. You should include heavy resistance training to your daily routine

In addition to cardio exercises, you must perform heavy resistance training. This training can help you melt nasty fat. By reducing the fat and water quantity between your skin and your muscles, you emphasize the muscles. The larger your muscles, the more energy they need to function, which simply translates into increased calorie expenditure.

#2. Proper Diet

You can lose weight at the beginning of your diet. However, you should know that you lose only water but not fat!

Stop cutting all the healthy foods from your diet.

Stop reducing the calorie intake.

Stop skipping meals.

Stop exercise on empty stomach.

Stop relaying on veganism.

If you want to lose fat, you need to eat well-balanced meals that are full of vegetables, protein and a few complex carbs. Also, do not forget to drink enough water to keep your body hydrated.
